Charlotte, N.C.  – Edifice Inc. has once again been named on the North Carolina 100®. The Grant Thornton Top 100 ranks the state’s largest private companies.  This exclusive award identifies and celebrates the successes of dynamic privately-held businesses.

To be considered, companies must be headquartered in North Carolina. They may not be a subsidiary of another company and cannot have publicly traded stock.

“I’m always excited about the NC100® list coming out, to see which private companies are innovating and growing and moving up, and to learn about new companies that are making a difference in our state,” says Mike McGuire, a Charlotte resident who is chief executive officer at Chicago-based Grant Thornton.

Edifice has remained a constant on the list for more than a decade and this year moved up eight places in the rankings.  Rankings are based on revenue in the most recent fiscal year.  Edifice continues to excel with a diverse portfolio including projects in civic and education, entertainment, sports, upscale offices and interiors, industrial, faith-based projects and senior living.

Survey results are published in the October issue of Business North Carolina magazine.
