The 1616 Center project is moving right along, with the building skin getting ready for finishes and the Phase 2 steel taking shape. Thank you for everyone’s help in keeping us moving forward. Here are a few milestones completed this month…
The final precast panel was put into place, by Tindall Construction, completely enclosing the parking deck structure. The parking deck is a 4 story pre-cast deck with +/- 17,000 SF per level, which will offer a total of 216 parking spaces.
Phase 1 (Camden Elevation) steel framing, provided by SteelFab, and partial dry in is completed. The light gauge framing and densglass installation was completed by Bonitz.
Phase 2 (Kingston Elevation) is now in progress with the steel framing and metal decking.
Note: Due to the angle of the camera and in order to produce a great final time lapse video of the entire project, phase 2 progress may not be entirely visible via the web cam for the next few weeks. Come early May we will have a great view of two elevations as all the finishes will be starting and visible from this angle.

The CMU Tower was erected by Gates Construction Company. Check out the time lapse video below.
