Edifice Receives 2014 WFX Solomon Award for Best Building Contractor
Charlotte, N.C. – Edifice, Inc. received the 2014 WFX Solomon Award for Best Building Contractor Wednesday, October 1st at the Worship Facilities Conference & Expo (WFX) in Dallas, TX.
Under this category, Edifice submitted the adaptive re-use project, Elevation Church Lake Norman, that involved transforming Palace Theater into a state-of-the-art worship center, located in Cornelius, NC. This project showcased Edifice’s ability to work under a demanding schedule and implement innovative value engineering challenges, completing the project one month ahead of schedule and under budget.
Presented by a conglomerate of magazine publishers including: Worship Facilities Magazine, Designer Magazine and Church Production Magazine, the WFX Solomon Awards program is a leading annual national award program that recognizes church building design, encompassing churches of all sizes and styles.
Open to churches, architects, designers, and builders these awards acknowledge churches and their partners for excellence in facilities design, building expansion or remodeling, operation excellence, innovative use, and technical production. Finalists and winners were selected based on the quality of information provided and winners were determined by Worship Facilities Magazine, Designer Magazine and Church Production Magazine editors, distinguished members of the WFX Advisory Board, and WFX management.
