2018 Oktoberfeier Livens Up Charlotte’s Lower South End

Guten Tag! One of the best things about fall in Charlotte is attending Edifice Oktoberfeier, an annual fall celebration. Saturday night September 29 was filled with the laughter of our employees, families, clients, and friends, many dressed in authentic lederhosen and dirndl. Delighted children could be heard for miles from our parking lot in Charlotte’s Lower South End on South Boulevard.

With nearly 650 in attendance, our guests enjoyed authentic German music and cuisine plus beer from local German brewmasters, The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.  Activities included Ferris wheel rides, virtual reality, carnival games, crafts, face-painting, and strudel served on a living table. Many of our guests could be seen throwing a hammer in the traditional game of Stump, getting their hair braided, or just relaxing in our indoor dining hall.

We would like to thank everyone for coming out and making this night memorable. We may be giving Munich’s Oktoberfest a run for the money!
