Human Resources Coordinator
Overview:
With 45 years of exceptional building experience, Edifice has become a leading regional general contractor in the Southeast. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
At Edifice, you will be responsible for administrative and clerical functions of the Human Resources Department and will help support the company culture to ensure a positive employee experience. The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Human Resources Director.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support with applicant tracking
- Manage various steps of the new hire process from the offer stage to orientation/onboarding
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding benefits; assist with annual enrollment
- Maintain various files to track birthdays, service anniversaries, veterans, etc.
- Regularly update intranet (MyHub) and the company calendar with birthdays, service anniversaries, new hire introductions, and other appropriate announcements
- Coordinate schedules and help prepare for both required and elective employee trainings
- Maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic employee files
- Monitor the status of required employee training
- Play a key role in supporting the planning and executing of Edifice events and celebrations
- Actively support and promote the positive culture of Edifice
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Human Resources or a related field or relevant work experience
- Work experience in Human Resources or Administrative Support a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Able to work within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
