Marketing Manager – Charleston

The incumbent will work with a group of talented marketing professionals that support our executive team, business developers, operational leaders, and project teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will help facilitate brand consistency throughout EDIFICE while playing a key role in the growth and development of our Charleston Region. This role will encompass a variety of marketing techniques used together to strategically advance Edifice’s position across multiple markets and project types.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop Request for Proposal, Request for Qualification, and Presentation responses to clients
- Prepare and manage materials including case studies, website descriptions, social media content, award submittals, etc. for a variety of market types
- Maintain marketing database; companies, contacts, personnel resumes, photography, project data, and other proposal content and graphics
- Develop strategic communications/campaigns
- Coordinate with construction project teams to capture project data, descriptions, client feedback, professional photography, and content
- Manage project-specific events (groundbreakings, topping outs, etc.)
- Update and manage internal and external digital communications
- Plan and execute events for both external and internal audiences
- Supports special projects and completes other marketing responsibilities
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or previous work experience in marketing or communications
- 5+ years of marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry
- Top candidates will possess strong knowledge of local Charleston, SC area
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor activities to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and self-manage activities necessary to achieve results
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Planner & OneNote, Constant Contact, Canva, Hootsuite, and CRM database (Unanet / Cosential)
