Edifice Construction served as the general contractor for the expansion of independent living units on the campus of Plantation Estates located in Matthews, North Carolina. The scope of work for this project consisted of developing a 40 acre site for Phase I and future phases, including a major road widening and an on-site bridge. Phase I included the construction of 7 apartment style buildings equaling 252,000 heated square-feet and totaling 126 units for senior living. Additionally, each building has their own 13,000 square-foot parking garage.
