Schaeffler Group Selects EDIFICE to Build New Headquarters
Fort Mill, S.C. – German-based Schaeffler Group continues its expansion in York County with the announcement of $36.5 expansion on their Fort Mill campus and selected Edifice to build their new headquarters.
Schaeffler’s existing facilities will be expanded to include an additional corporate headquarters building, expansion of one of the company’s two manufacturing plants and a reworked plant entrance to accommodate the growth and increase in traffic.
Edifice has kicked off construction of the new Class-A headquarters building, which will consist of approximately 64,000-square feet. This $11 million building, designed by LS3P, will feature precast and glass throughout. Amenities will include a canteen and a training center.
The completion of the expansion is scheduled for fall 2017.
