Excellence in Construction Awards Bestowed to Edifice
Charlotte, N.C. – At the 2014 annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet in uptown Charlotte, the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas recognized two of Edifice’s recently completed projects as being among the 2014 BEST OF THE BEST. The UNC Charlotte PORTAL building and Elevation Church Lake Norman were both recipients of the prestigious Eagle Award.
The PORTAL is a 96,000 square feet office building dedicated to information technology, research, and collaboration. With 10,000 square feet of certified secured area, the building is a desirable option for government defense and classified research. Click here for more information on the PORTAL.
Elevation Church Lake Norman was originally built by Edifice in 1998 as the Palace Theatre. This adaptive reuse project repurposed the 41,600 square feet, 12-screen theatre into Elevation Church’s 10th location. Click here for more information on Elevation Lake Norman.
Congratulations to everyone involved in both of these projects for contributing to their success.
