24 Hours of Booty

Edifice Returns to the Booty Loop and 24 Hours of Booty

This past weekend marked the 4th year in a row that Edifice joined the fight against cancer by participating in the 17th annual 24 Hours of Booty event held in the beautiful Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. This 24-hour riding/striding event raises funds for cancer navigation and survivorship services in the local community.

Earlier this year, Edifice commemorated its 4oth anniversary by launching the 40UP program, committing to a series of gifts to non-profits and community organizations. Supporting the 24 Foundation and 24 Hours of Booty is just one more avenue to lift up our community and to provide an opportunity for employees and their families to get involved.

Riding and/or walking in a designated 3-mile path, known as the Booty Loop, participants were encouraged by family, friends, residents, and fans lining the way with cheering. Tod Creech led the Edifice team of 36 riders and striders which, through combined efforts, raised over $30,000, bringing our total contribution during the past four years to over $105,500.  This year the team included riders from partnering firms Clark Nexsen, Bonitz Contracting, and Hinson Electric.

“Your work to change the course of cancer helps 24 Foundation get even closer to the finish line. To date, your passion has helped 24 Foundation raise more than $21 million dollars for cancer navigation and survivorship programs. Thank you for partnering with us to make a powerful impact in your community and across the nation!” – 24 Foundation

Thank you to all of our generous partners and contributors for making this an event we won’t forget.
