Edifice recently completed the first of a three-phase renovation and expansion for Myers Park Country Club.

The first phase of the project included an extensive renovation to the men’s locker room and bathing areas, as well as the boys and girls pool locker rooms. But perhaps the most impressive portion of this phase is the complete demolition and replacement of the pool area.

The newly renovated pool deck is now 7,500 square feet larger. Once inside, it feels more like an Oasis than a pool.

Members agree.

“Edifice has completed Phase I of the Myers Park Centennial Plan. The Centennial Plan is a comprehensive and exciting vision for improvement of existing facilities, as well as, construction of a new Women’s locker room, Fitness Center, Proshop and Golf Teaching Facility.” shared Bob Burchette, Club President for Myers Park Country Club.

“The Phase I work on the Men’s Locker Room and the renovation and expansion of our Pool, have exceed expectations of our membership and enhanced the Myers Park experience.” added Burchette

Whether it be children enjoying the new kiddie pool, teens settling into the newly renovated teen center, or those enjoying the new food and beverage area, comforts abound –flat screen televisions and a lengthy granite bar are just a few of the lavish finishes to enjoy.

David Stanford, Edifice Project Executive noted that “the collaborative effort between the building committee, designers and Edifice contributed significantly to the success of the project.”

Planning and design of the second phase for the club is currently underway. When complete, it will include a 20,000 square foot fitness facility. In addition, the Proshop and cart storage will be relocated to the new facility.

Phase three will follow closely behind phase two to include the expansion of the grand terrace along the course side of the main clubhouse.  Extensive renovations to the formal and informal dining rooms and the main kitchen are also in the plan.

Stanford added, “we are working hard to secure our position as the general contractor of choice for future phases. We look forward to the opportunity to work with the entire team in making these plans a reality for the members.”

For now, members are enjoying the sophisticated completions to this traditional and admired country club.
