Iredell County’s new Public Safety Complex is Underway
Edifice and ADW Architects are pleased to provide design-build services for Iredell County’s new public safety complex. The team will provide planning, design, coordination, and construction of the 37,000-square foot complex will house the county’s 911 Call Center, administration space for emergency medical services (EMS), the fire marshal’s office, and ECOM services all under one roof.
The complex sits on a 16-acre site. A 180-foot communications tower will be added on the site near the end of the project.
Construction is currently underway. EMS and the fire marshal’s office are expected to move into the building by December 2018, with emergency communications to follow in the spring 2019.
