Lessons in Construction | Teaching 4th Graders
Edifice project manager, Jason Cameron, took time out to teach a few lessons in construction to the 4th-grade students at Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte. Edifice is currently constructing Trinity’s new 25,000-square foot multi-purpose building which will include an auditorium plus classrooms for art and music. The plans for the new building were shared with the students as they learned about general contracting, project management, budgeting and managing construction projects. In addition, real-world math was explored including how to measure and estimate quantities of supplies needed and how to predict and accurately schedule a project.
Thanks to Jason for offering these students a new experience and maybe a future career path.
