This renovation project converted a bank building into a 13,000sf police department. Extensive interior renovations included including enclosing the second floor, adding restrooms, as well as updating the mechanical system and building envelope modifications. A secured special climate controlled Evidence Storage addition was constructed on the back of the building.
With the space vacant we were able to leave no stone unturned in examining the existing structure and building components. Our constructability process, utilized for new ground-up projects and renovations, played a key role in allowing us to modify and revise the new MEP infrastructure into the existing structure and keep safety and visual elements in mind for the project.
