The Carolina Park Phase III project is intended to assist in fulfilling its mission by providing needed athletic and recreational facilities for the residents of Mount Pleasant. The new facilities include lighted baseball and softball fields along with associated irrigation and drainage to meet existing and future demand in these very popular program areas with expanded parking at the Carolina Park Recreation complex for participants and spectators. Phase III also provides a children’s playground and dog park on the north end of the Town for residents’ use and fills in existing low areas to prevent standing water and accommodate future anticipated phases of development.
