The City of Anderson is recreating the existing Linley Park. The newly revamped park will include a beautifully landscaped stream bed with enhanced environment features. The rehabilitation of Whitner Creek includes the development of flood storage within the park, intersection improvements, removal of baseball fields, new pavilion, restrooms playground, parking lot, walking paths and pedestrian bridge, retaining wall, shade structures, and 0.7 mile greenway.
