Pineville Town Hall and Library Ribbon Cutting

What a great day for the Town of Pineville. Today the Town held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of the new Town Hall and Library in the heart of downtown Pineville.

The Town partnered up with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library to create a long awaited new library that is housed on the first floor with a 2,000sf council chamber and town hall operations on the second. This 43,000sf two-story building was designed by Creech & Associates with Edifice serving as Construction Manager.

Some interesting numbers and facts about the building include the use of:
158,224 Bricks
231 tons of structural steel
832 cubic yards of concrete
18,884 sf of roof membrane
45,902 sf of paving
21,843 sf of carpet

After the ceremony, the guests toured the new Town Hall and Library where they had the opportunity to meet with the expertly trained staff ready to provide assistance and customer service to patrons of the library.
