University Recreation Center | October 2017
During the month of October, work at the UNC Charlotte’s University Recreation Center continues to progress on schedule with the concrete trade contractor beginning their installation of concrete foundations and retaining walls at the first floor level of the building. They will continue with this work at the first floor into the month of November as they move across the building, which will allow areas to be freed up for other trades to begin under slab utility work shortly. The majority of trench rock previously impeding concrete foundation installation along the first floor retaining wall has now been removed. Site Work trade contractor has proceeded and is continuing with installation of underground storm and sanitary systems at the west side of the site.
