This project is a five-story, 76,000-square-foot mixed use development located in heart of South End Charlotte. The one-acre site sits on the corner of Camden and West Kingston Avenue next to the landmark restaurant Price’s Chicken Coop. The project includes 10,000-square-feet of retail space on the first floor with 65,000-square-feet of office space on the remaining four floors above.
The Axiom Architecture design features Class A office / retail space with elegant features including a pedestrian plaza with patio, modern finishes and artwork, a sky box on the fifth floor, and a six-story parking deck with 254 spaces. This property is located on Charlotte’s Rail Trail, a 3-mile “linear park” that engages the community with public art pieces along the trail.
2016 Vision Award by Center City Partners for raising the bar on architectural design in a mixed-use development strengthening South End Charlotte as an employment center, providing street level activation, and creating a more balanced urban neighborhood.
