Project Update:

The Covenant Day School’s new high school project continues to move right along and on schedule. Since our last blog, the spray foam insulation has been completed and we remain working on the installation of the brick veneer. We anticipate the entire facade will be completed in 2 weeks. The storefront window installation began on Monday and will continue for the next 20-25 working days.

The interior of the high school takes shape as progress continues on the inside as well. While the interior framing is nearly completed, we begin to install the soffit framing, bulkheads and ceiling framing. The above-ceiling rough-ins continue on both floors and the wall rough-ins on the first floor should be completed next week. The 2nd floor’s wall inspections are in progress and we are currently hanging and finishing sheet rock in areas protected from the weather.

Working with CDS students, the faculty, and staff for this new high school has been truly rewarding and an inspiration to not only the project team and everyone working on-site, but to all of us at Edifice.

For Valentines Day, in lieu of exchanging Valentines with each other, the 5th grade students at Covenant Day School gave each worker a treat bag with a personalized message. Click here to read the full story.
