Metrolina Park Building 6 | June 2020
The almost 43+ acre site for the Metrolina Park, Building #6 being developed by Beacon Partners is cleared with detention ponds complete along with site work, storm sewer and utilities well underway. Installation of 6,729 geo piers are in progress with 2,729 installed to date. Fill in excess of 16+ feet for the building pad and site is being placed with the building foundations planned to start the first week in August. The mound of dirt seen along the road on the south side of the site is where the grandstands were located at the historic Metrolina Speedway.
