Calvary Church Sanctuary Renovation

Charlotte, NC

About the Project

This is a renovation project for the main sanctuary of Calvary Church in south Charlotte, originally built in 1989. This complete refresh included re-furbishing the pews, fresh paint, new flooring and ceiling tile, and upgrades to the house lighting thru-out the entire space. Other space modifications included enlarging the stage and moving the choir risers forward to create space for back-drop walls to hold the LED screens. This also allowed the choir access to the platform without being seen by the audience. The sequencing of the renovations and the areas of impact were strategically thought out to minimize disruption and allowed the Church to remain open for worship during the construction process.
