About the Project

The Square at South End is a 10-story mixed-use development located on the corner of SouthTryon Street and West Boulevard on a 1.7-acre site. The project will consist of 150,000sf of office space. Each of the 10 floors will be between 15,000 and 17,000sf and will include outdoor decks on multiple floors.  The first floor will contain 10,000sf of retail plus a large outdoor plaza. The plaza connects West Boulevard to the future Wilmore Centennial Park. The Square will include exposed brick, steel beams, and glass. The building will also include a two-story fitness center with a mezzanine fronting the park, an outdoor wellness area for group classes, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a 2,400sf coffee bar and lounge and a rooftop restaurant and bar with a 2,500sf patio.  Apartments will also be in a separate building and will wrap the project’s parking deck.

The developer also plans to work with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation to build Wilmore Centennial Park, a 1.5-acre park that will act as a plaza at the front of the buildings.
