Edifice is managing the construction of the distribution park being developed by Beacon Partners on the former site of the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo in north Charlotte. The Metrolina Park development will consist of 1.2 million square feet of multiple buildings. Working with Merriman Schmitt Architects, this project will be developed in two phases with the first phase consisting of buildings 1 and 2 and totaling 640,000 square feet.
Edifice was selected to provide construction services overseeing the addition and renovation to Grace Church’s existing structure. The 23,000 square-foot addition consists of a new auditorium styled sanctuary, a new lobby, a complete phased retaining wall and site development package. The 14,000 square-foot renovation includes the remodeling of the existing lobby and church offices.
Edifice was selected to provide construction services for the 99,977 square-foot addition to an existing multipurpose building on campus that serves both Carmel Baptist Church and Carmel Christian School. The interior offers a variety of spaces including a 450+ seat auditorium, student community space, flexible classrooms, six (6) science labs, administration, and a 1000 seat gymnasium.
Edifice provided construction management services for the interior renovations to the existing sanctuary along with some exterior improvements totaling 25,000 square feet. Age, water damage, and being functionally obsolete required a redesign and restoration of the sanctuary.
Edifice recently completed construction services for the Bradley Law as they relocated their Charlotte office from the Bank of America Corporate Center to the Hearst Tower.
This 25,000sf renovation included a complete demolition and build back of the space. The Gensler design consisted of one large conference room and 5 smaller conference rooms and collaborative spaces.
The scope of work for this project consists of developing a 40 acre site for Phase I and future phases, including a major road widening and an on-site bridge. Phase I includes the construction of 7 apartment style buildings equalling 252,000 heated square feet and totaling 126 units for senior living. Each building has their own 13,000sf parking garage.
This new 30,400-square foot facility for LIFE Fellowship Church includes an efficient layout with practical and functional design that will serve the church as their ministry continue
